

If you’re following the instructions in the Google doc, you can make these changes when the MCM guide would ordinarily set up the respective mod, but most can also be changed mid-playthrough. In general, these help increase immersion, address UltSky mechanical oddities, and/or improve game function. Here are tweaks I’ve made to the base UltSky MCM guide for my current playthrough. There are way too many mods in UltSky to highlight them all, so I recommend you check out that Getting Started Guide for more details. And most jarringly for Skyrim veterans, it de-levels the world so threats don’t scale up with the player. It adds new NPCs and modifies the game environment. It redefines basic gameplay mechanics around combat, spells, and even movement. Ogerboss’s legendary mod totally changes everything about Skyrim.

The biggest mods are Skyrim Unbound, which unplugs your character from the main questline, the survival mods, and of course, Requiem.
